I’m a freelance journalist covering the intersectionality between politics, gender and identity. I also specialised in writing long-form human-interest stories, as well as interviewing underrepresented communities.

Born and raised in Hong Kong, I’m now based in London. I’ve recently graduated with a journalism master’s from the City University of London, and I’m proficient in both Chinese and English writing. My writing has been published by local newspapers like Hackney Gazette, independent media like NuVoices, and international outlets like Initium Media. They cover diverse topics, but they usually explore immigration and identity issues, such as queer immigrants in the UK and Turkey’s presidential election.

I also write cultural stories. Specialist in East Asian culture, I review East Asian films at The Indiependent, an independent art media. Having studied food history during my undergraduate studies, I also write food articles for local newspapers like Hackney Gazette and The Slice Tower Hamlets.

In addition to news writing, I am experienced in social media journalism and digital marketing. I am now a marketing intern at ParkRun, social media editor at Empoword Journalism, and deputy social media editor at NüVoices, a global non-profit supporting gender minorities working on China subjects.
